I honestly thought he had died already.

lost another cat, Simon, on Sunday night. we think he had a heart attack or blood clot that dislodged, because all of a sudden he lost use of his left front leg and was gasping for breath.

and i messed up the timeline - Wedge was put to sleep the week before Christmas Eve, and we found out Simon had congestive heart failure on Christmas Eve.

and now Meg(atron), my first cat ever, and really my first 'major' pet (i.e. not a goldfish or hamster), is not eating and losing weight like crazy. even with an appetite stimulant.

so that's two out of five down in roughly a month, with a third on her last legs.
